 Royal National Park

It was earlier known as "national park" after Yellowstone of United States. But after the visit of Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia it was renamed as National Park.

Unlike other Parks in Sydney, Royal National Park is home to many worth while tourist spots as it is believed to house popular villages such as Audley, Maianbar and Bundeena. It’s widely believed that there was once a railway line in this area which was connected to the City Rail Illawarra line but over the years, this railway line was closed down. The Sydney Tramway Museum operates a tram in this particular area while Audley can be accessed by road as there is presence of many railway stations located near the fringes of the Royal National Park.

Spread over a huge acre of land, The Royal National Park in Sydney comprises of many beautiful landscapes comprising of coastal beaches, cliffs small inlets, high plateaus and deep river valleys. The river valleys usually flow from south to north slowly forming into shallow harbor in due course of time.
